Is it possible to recycle a computer case from an older computer to use on a new build? Would there be any compatibility issues doing this?

It depends on the case, the idea is that your motherboard needs to fit in, and the rest of the components as well. So, to answer your question, yes it's possible, but under certain conditions :D

That's perfectly find if the motherboard is compatible, but overall I like buying a new case as it gives me a more feeling that I have a new fresh PC.

You need many tools to do so. Even you need a workshop to create new case.

Obviously not going to have a compatibility issue unless the case is really small or something.

But why recycle a case when you can get one for like 30 bucks online?
