When you are considering the tags you are using, you want to consider the best and more popular as well as the not so used ones. For example... A person is more likely to search "Why does my can pee on the floor?" over "Why is my cat urinating outside of his box?". While the first is a popular question, you should also look at other words to expand your possible traffic from Google.
  2. I think long tail keyword are helpful way, but for business point of view short term keywords are very important.

Tags are generally used to classify content in a way that is useful for the reader and easy for search engines to understand, which potentially makes them incredibly important for both SEO and usability. However, over the years, the way we use tags and their relative impact on rankings has changed. The key question is: are tags as important now as they once were???
